This permission gives users the ability to subscribe to packages published by others.
It also gives permission to gives users the ability to Add, Update, and Delete Packages they are publishing, if that feature is enabled.
- The Publish Package option is enabled by your Service Provider.
- The default single sign-on setting on on-premises installation is Off.
- The default single sign-on setting on the cloud is On. (Contact Support to make changes.)
- Considerations
- The Manage Packages permission is enabled by default for the System Administrator.
- The Manage Packages permission is set in Administrative Permissions.
- This feature is disabled by default in all new Access Profiles.
